I am using the latest version of pathauto on a site and cannot figure this problem out for the life of me. I have the settings the same as most my other sites (at least as far as I can tell) but the recent comments block goes to a page not found error. If I go to the actual node the comment was on then click the comment it works fine.
site.com/204#comment-18 is what the link looks like in the recent comments block while
site.com/images/brrrrrrrrr#comment-18 is what it looks like on an image with the comment
It does the same thing with other comments on forums and any other content type.
Any Clue

gregglesYou're using the "recent comments block" from core?
Does the problem exist with more recent versions of Drupal core?
What about turning off pathauto and creating a node alias manually - does the problem still exist in that case?

dave reidAt this point, this issue is going to be marked as fixed due to a lack of follow-up.
