Hello

I've installed Drupal latest version on my vista home basic machine. I'm using Apache2 , PHP5 and Msql5.5
Installation went OK, but it looks like I cant add any extra modules or themes.

When I add a new theme or module. They are not showing up in the module and themes list. The only modules and themes that can be seen are the ones that are part of the basic drupal package.

Modules are downloaded into the /sites/all/modules directory
Themes are downloaded into the /sites/all/themes directory

Permissions are set wide open just to make sure that permissions is not an issue.

Still it is not working.

I've posted this to the drupal support on the IRC channel with no response. I have also posted this on this forum previously with no response. Is this a new bug issue that no one knows about?

This might be an obvious question, but you didn't mention unzipping the modules into the sites/all/modules folder. Have you done this?

Sorry I didn't mention that. All modules and themes that I've tried to install have been unzipped.
