RSS Aggregator posts random old item at top of list, WILL NOT go away??

I've tried uninstalling the module, removing the items in the feed, removing the feed entirely,

the problem seems like it must be local, RSS bookmark in firefox isn't doing it.

Should I go into the database, maybe its stuck in there somehow?

When I update the feed, it lists this one story as being posted a few seconds ago - like when I updated the feed, its like it created that story then. Very weird.

Ideas?
