Hello Drupal hosting experts, I am looking for a hosting service to migrate http://www.glamfree.com that would meet the following requirements:
. 99.9 uptime
. APC
. VPS or Dedicated servers
. Managed
. Reasonably prices
. Great customer service
. I am no ops guru ... anything else I should be looking for?

From a capacity standpoint, the GlamFree.com pilot is currently serving about 20,000 pages a week, mostly in Europe but I could care less about geography beside latency, growing at about 25% a month and it would be nice to be settled for the next 8-12 months if not more.

Thank you for any insights; fully apprciated.

hotdrupal.com.

And, no, I don't work for 'em and they don't even have an affiliate program.

We've been hugely impressed by the reasonable rates and outstanding tech. support offered by HotDrupal, who have been hosting http://mongolia.charityrallies.org/ for us for over a year now.

For example, I was wondering what the best way to backup the site was. One (toll free, from the UK!) phone call to their support number put me through directly to main man Steve Brown who, having ascertained that I was on a Linux box, recommended :-

'rsync -a -z --progress -S [account name]@[IP address]:[remote directory, e.g. ~/public_html/] [local directory, e.g. ~/Backups/remotesite]'

A quick alias for that, and I could do incremental backups of the site with a single command.

Hey, I was impressed...

Regards from the sunny (for once :-) north of England!

Pete.

As with the above post, Steve personally answers many phone calls if you're having any troubles, and he goes out of his way to help. Support tickets are usually answered in minutes, and I haven't had a complaint. Their pricing is pretty good, too.
