Book Permissions

Hello,

We're trying to separate permissions of creating, editing, and publishing of books based on user role. So a user in role X may only have create and edit permissions on book A (and all it's sub pages), while a user in role Y may have create, edit and publish permissions on book A. This would also mean that user in role X doesn't have permission to do anything in book B, since those permissions weren't granted.

Is this something that drupal can handle or there are plans for this going forward? We haven't found any modules that break up permissions in this way.
