Hi everybody!
I just installed drupal and I must say I love it. So flexible, so powerful. I have made my way to some hundreds of themese and my brain is totally fried now. I think I spotted something interesting for my use, but I could defenetly use any suggestion on this matter. What I would like is a theme that looks very sober just like for istance this site: http://www.valslist.com/home
Menu could be on top or on a side column, does not matter. The important thing is that it looks very clean as this site. Any suggestions?

Thank you so much!
Andrea

Hi Andrea,

I would suggest the Twilight theme. http://drupal.org/project/twilight

The screenshot doesn't really show what you are looking for, but it's extremely customizable in the theme configuration menu. You can see a dark and simple implementation of it here: http://www.thewin.org/. In most cases, Drupal will allow you to disable the primary menu links at the top of the page (if the theme creator has coded in a top horizontal menu) and enable a primary links block on the side. So it's really up to you if you would like the menu on the top or on the side. Good luck in your searchings!

Bonjour,

Themes were always one of the major hold-backs for me to really dig into Drupal. But I have now found the answer and that is Artisteer! :) Too easy! Too much fun! Too many choices! Just export your dream theme as a Drupal theme, copy the resultant folder to your site and there it is, complete with drop-down menus (if you chose that option).

Cheers!
