user_relationships_content view - how create a menue item?

Hi ...

in the regular user_relationships_content view is a path given to the page-view: user/%/associates

When I want to integrate the view into an existing menue, my D.6 gives me the error: "VIEWS can´t create menue items with an % in the path!"

I guess it should be possible to include the view with a "normal" path and changed arguments? Unfortunately .... I am not to good in the views arguments ... could someone tell me, how to change the arguments, to use the page in a menue with a menue item created in the view itself?
