problem loading googlemaps into jquery tabs

I have installed the jquery module and GMaps. I have a problem loading correctly googlemaps into jquery tabs. It loads the google maps but shows only the half map into the viewable area. I have googled a little bit and I think that it has to do with the fact that it first loads the tabs and then the google map, resulting in this bug. Though I don't know what I should change in order to fix it (problem).
