Description
I've been translating a whole lot of modules lately, thought I'd share. Don't know if anyone is interested, but here's the Dutch translation.

Thanks libeco for your efforts.
I'm not too happy though with the translation of "ImageCache" as "FotoCache". In my opinion, module names should never be translated because it makes the admin pages confusing. (I mean, Dan Brown isn't called Daan Bruin here either :-)) Are there any translation guidelines that specify how modules names should be handled?

since there's not really a patch attached i'm going to just mark this as active. please post and updated .po file.

OK, here's a new .po file. There's some debate going on about the question if module names should be translated at all (IRC, http://drupal.org/node/152375), but for now I'll just upload what I find the most logical solution. (After all, Drupal is a do-ocracy...)
My changes:
- "ImageCache" and "imagecache" are not translated anymore
- "image" is now translated to "afbeelding" (instead of "foto", which means "photo")
- a couple of minor typo's

I haven't checked the new translation file. The reason I've used the Dutch translation at the time was that the users of the website I was creating it for are Dutch. They probably don't care about module names that much, but it would help them recognize what the module was about.
I also understand your point about not translating module names and I'm ok with that. I'd say Drupal is kind of democratic so if more people like to keep the original module name, I'm ok with not translating it.

Thanks for putting your efforts in the translation to Dutch!
I do have second thoughts though on the 'Spoel schoon' translation for 'flush'.
'Wissen' would be a more appropriate translation, in my opinion..
Could you agree on this one?

Erik, I think "wissen" ('erase' or 'delete' in English) is way better than "spoel schoon".
On the other hand, it sounds a little destructive. Personally, I would prefer something like "opnieuw opbouwen" ('rebuild' in English), but I guess rewriting the English term is beyond the scope of this issue.

Since I translated this quite some time ago I don't really remember in what context this is uses, but if I remember correctly it's about flushing ImageCache. In that case I would say 'rebuild' is a better term for the user as 'delete' might sound too permanent. I agree that 'spoel schoon' is not such a neat translation, but whether 'wissen' is the correct translation.... I'm in doubt. I would prefer 'opnieuw opbouwen', even though it's the not a direct translation. Any more thoughts?
