I would like to add a paragraph of instructions on the /user login page. Is there a way to do that?
Easiest way is to go to Site Building -> Blocks and Add Block
There's a radio button that says "show only on the following pages", then type user and also select only for role anonymous (prevents it from showing up once logged in).
