Issue Summary
The stockapi settings page hasn't been updated. The settings are quite technical and I believe not usually needed. I think it is a good idea to remove this page. The settings can easily be changed in PHP code if necessary.
This patch also moves updates to a separate .install file and simplifies the module description.

The settings are still needed for those who want them.
Editing the file is not acceptable, nor even available in some cases (think Bryght).
If you want to change the wording, or put a warning that these values should only be changed by a knowledgable person, then you can submit this as a new patch and reopen the issue.
