tobias commented+1 I am having this issue too. Not sure if there are any configurable options for this module?

tobias commentedActually, I just realized that when I go to the admin/user/user/email_verify location the error log starts displaying lots of log entries from email_verify, as executed by my user acct on the site. It appears that when you go there it verifies all email addresses on the site - so this understandably takes a long time!
Perhaps if you let it run for a while (I am trying this now) it will eventually show a report of how many good and how many bad addresses you have already in your system. I am trying this now.
Cheers,
Tobias

tobias commentedConfirmed - it does just what I thought, which is helpful. After about 30 minutes of running, it displayed a list of about 100 usernames and email addresses that presumably it was not able to verify. This is great - would be nice if the admin interface were more userfriendly/informative but hey, it performs as advertised!

oadaeh commentedDue to Drupal 6's EOL, I am closing this with "won't fix." If you feel this is still valid for any of the 7.x branches, feel free to re-open and update this issue.
