Hi,

May I have suggestions of best or a few of better e-commerce module? I've look into Ubercart and ecommerce. Anyone could give me some suggestion? Thanks.

UC is the best by far from my experience. It is supported by a company too. Lots of documentation as well...

There is one primary advantage with e-commerce though. From what I remember (I haven't used ec in a while) ec allows you to make virtually any node a product at any time. That is NICE! I wish UberCart could do that but, generally speaking you don't need that if you have decent planning skills and know what types are going to be products and which ones aren't.

If you want a real "store-like" commerce system that is very modular, well written, and extensible, go with UC. If you want a fly-by-the-seat-of-your-pants store, then EC is the one you will want to look at.

Be warned though, sometimes, EC may eat your baby. I have had it happen to me before where it destroyed my DB to the point to where all of my products had to be deleted, the db completely wiped of all EC tables and a re-install made. This is frustrating if you are dealing with hundreds of products. That's why I don't use EC anymore...

Yes, I was looking ecommerce and Ubercart only. I got what you mean. If I was dedicated to open a e-commerce site, and let's say my site only have one content type, which is product, then I can go for Ubercart and no worry about ecommerce right?
