Hi,
There is a problem with the sidebars : when left sidebar is empty and all blocks are in right sidebar, it seems to be OK on blocks admin page but on any other page, the blocks appear in left sidebar (the right part of screen is blank).
Thanks,

Title: sidebars » columns

Hi all,

Drupal virgin alert... I'm setting up my first drupal site, using the fantastic 960 Robotos theme as my playground. I've already gone through the basics of setting up the site, locally hosted (many thanks to the bloke at learnbythedrop.com and Lullabot's own Jeff Robbins for guiding me through this sadly daunting process) and am currently adding content and trying to build the site up.

I have two questions that I haven't seen covered, which makes me think I must be misunderstanding the problem so extravagantly that nobody's ever thought to explain things in these terms. First, how do I implement 960 Robots' columns? I'd like to have organise stories under a 'featured items' column on the right hand column, I'm still not sure how Drupal handles things like this. Is there, like, a columns module?

Second and perhaps more inanely, I cannot figure how to view through a non-admin perspective. The whole "editing a page is the same as viewing a page" has thrown me somewhat, and more than anything I want to test the site as a first-time visitor would experience it. How do I do this?

Many thanks for any help,

Murray

p.s. Am running Drupal6.12

Hi,
As far as I understand them, your problems don't deal with 960 robots theme but with Drupal in general (and views.module in particular). Please browse drupal.org site to find help. Theme's issues are for reporting bugs or requesting features on a theme. What you need is not "theme-wise".
Thanks

Thanks, Iko. Also, apologies for hijacking your query with my own. Accidental, I assure you :)

I'm gradually getting a handle on things...

No problem. All this stuff will soon be casual for you. Good luck !

This definitely plays into #477390: Make sidebars collapse when empty, which we're working on correcting.
