Customizing Drupal
Drupal has numerous themes that can change the look of a Drupal Web site. Some of them may look like your current site. The best thing to do would be to do a test install of Drupal and experiment with some of the provided themes to see if one of them will work for you.
If you have experience with CSS, you develop your own custom theme and probably get much closer to the look of your current site. But you need both some CSS experience and a willingness to roll up your sleeves and develop a new stylesheet.
Drupal, its add-on modules, and the add-on themes are all free. You have to provide the Web site.
thanks!!
OK thanks...ill be doing that now...ill just post some questions if ever i need any help...
Nice people in here...really fast replies!
Learning
Welcome to the community!
1. Yes, this can be achieved by adapting existing themes or making your own theme using for example phptemplate (see the appropriate section of the handbooks).
2. This 'thing' is open source. You can download and use it for free. The actual license is GPL
3. Try to post with a meaningful title; to quote Pratchett: "'Multiple exclamation marks [...] are a sure sign of a diseased mind." ;-)
If you want to read about Drupals mission, background and capabiliteis read the handbook section About Drupal.
Enjoy!
