Carousel, rotator slideshow, whice one to use?

Im trying to have a block,(idealy with a few thumbnails on the side displayed vertically, but isnt needed if i cant have them). And then each thumbnail will have a larger image with a title with a link on. I dont mind if the images slide across or fade or dont do either.

But im stuck on which module would be best for this.

So I would like to know which modules can do this, and what are the differences. Thanks.
