For DOI 10.1080/10682760290004294 , one of the author's names has an XML entity. This passes as the entity through the DOI lookup and then the entity is double escaped, so you end up with ValkÓ, instead of Valkó on the page.

There appears to be a couple of issues here...

  1. As you mention above, crossref.org seems to be double encoding the entity in the XML file, which I can deal with.
  2. The are using the wrong code, the are using x000D3 when it appears it should be x000F3, and there is not much I can do about that. I suspect it's just bad data on their end.

As mentioned above, this will now properly decode the characters, however there is no way for the parser to know if the codes are correct ;-)
