I'm running the latest version of Drupal over on MediaTemple and am unable to get the site to send out user registration confirmations. When I go to register a new account everything appears fine but when I check the logs, no mail was sent, despite the fact that e-mail verification is activated. I've trawled the forums but have been unable to find a solution to this problem.

I seem to have found a
I seem to have found a solution - I've turned off the rules module and now the site mails are going out. Only problem now is that there is no "mail sent with your password" type of message when the user has submitted the registration form.
