I've been trying for days to get this to work. I've got drupal up and have uploaded fckeditor 6.x-1.3, no problems. I then uploaded to this the editor contents of fckeditor 2.6.4. I then uploaded the imce module, no problems. I have no tool bar. What do I do? This is driving me nuts. Help someone.

First set up a new role. Lets say "Administrator" Give that role full permissions including fckeditor.
Then go to admin/user and make yourself an "Administrator"
Then go to admin/settings/fckeditor click on "edit default" Click on "Basic Setup" and you will see "Administrator" as an option, tick it and save the profile.
Then click on "File browser settings" and select IMCE as the "File browser type:"
You can use the same process for the Advanced Profile too.

This should work. But let me know if it doesn't.

Hi there.
I'm trying to follow your instructions to allow FCKeditor to upload images from my drive, but I can't find any of the settings you mention.

There is no FCKeditor under admin/settings/
There is, however, Wysiwyg, and when I go in there, I see that my FCKeditor is set as default editor for all three editing options. I can access the FCK basic settings section when I click on "edit" next to each editing option. But in that "basic settings" section, I can't find anything relating to image upload or IMCE. Not sure what to do next.
Both modules are definitely installed and I am using the latest versions of everything.
Can you help further?
