I just spent some time configuring Wysiwyg and I noticed I was constantly switching back and forth between "Input Format" and "Wysiwyg" configuration pages.

Perhaps the two should be combined to make it easier and faster to configure the module.

Yes, I agree with this proposal.

However, it will still take a lot of work to redo the current profile configuration. And I want to tackle this move to input format settings afterwards.

Since this is a rather obvious task, I'm closing this issue now. To potentially re-open it in a few months.

Sounds like it should be "postponed" for a few months...

Thanks for your hard work! Get to it when you can.

Since every Wysiwyg profile has an associated input filter is would as least be nice if at the bottom of the page where you select which buttons to show it displayed the tags your input filter must allow to work properly. this little reminder would certainly save a lot of heartburn.

Thanks for all the good work.

@Cozzi, that's a nice idea, but we'd need a pretty big lookup table to know the tags produced by every button/plugin/setting combination in each editor.

Bumping to 7.x since that's where changes will happen first, then we'll backport.
