I was wondering if someone has written a "donations" module that interacts with PayPal?

What do you envision the module doing? It's very simple to create a "donate now" button for PayPal. It would be easy enough to add that to a custom block and be done with it?
Do you picture something more elaborate?

In it's simplest form, I envision the Paypal module accepting the donation and crediting it to the member's account so that it can be displayed but not altered by the member. But of course Drupal would be able to deduct from the balance as the member uses premium services.

Adding a feature that would automatically add the donors info to a "donors" page would be nice.

It would save the donation supported sites time by not having to hand code the info in for each new donor.

I have, but I need to refactor it greatly before it's ready for prime time. Also missing a validation step.

I am a business that needs a PayPal block to access the paypal merchant payment system. It is just an image with a link to my PayPal merchant processing page.

DruPal is still a foreign language to me. I am comming off of PHPNuke so please be kind!
