Remove image button not working in IE

The remove image button does not work in Internet Explorer. This is with a fresh install with all the latest stable releases of Imagecache, image api, filefield, imagefield etc.... Images work fine in other content types, the fault is with Ubercart Products only. Everything works ok in Firefox. Can someone point me to a fix (not to another thread with similar issues but no fix). Thanks and much appreciated.
