Twitter integration

Some friends and I are interested in discussing the tweets of a particular celebrity that we each like to follow. As a result I would like to create a single page site that allows for one column to be the tweets of the person we are interested in discussing and in the other column our comments.

Comments and tweets are not required to be archived, just a generic running flow.

I have played around with a few of the existing twitter projects http://drupal.org/project/twitter and http://drupal.org/project/dailytwitter but neither seemed to be designed for the purposes required.

Can anyone think of a simple method for accomplishing this goal using existing drupal modules or perhaps another 3rd party twitter module and a native drupal commenting module?
