I manage to find and translate the english strings of biblio, but they do not show up on the biblio view and biblio nodes. Before (6.x-1-dev of beginnig of May) the filters would get at least translated and this only affected the fields in the biblio node, now also the filters do not want to get translated any more. Since I found this behaviour only with biblio, I guess it is a biblio related problem.

Thanks for any support on this.

Could you post your translation file here so I could test it.

Hello Ron,

Thank you for your usual prompt reply.

I attach here the user interface fr.po (it is not a full translation, but at least the strings I mentioned above are translated).

Thanks again.

I believe this is the French translation for Drupal Core, you also need the Biblio translation files, and as it turns out someone else contacted me via email regarding this the other day also, so this prompted me to include the translations (although somewhat incomplete) in the -dev version. In the latest -dev, you will see a translations directory and in there you will find the French translation for Biblio.

Merci for the suggestion. I have imported the po file from the dev version but with no success. I am using for the time being the 1.4 version. But even in the previous versions I have never succeded in getting the fields translated in the biblio nodes (as author, date published, etc.), only in the filters. Even if there are few exceptions: the "export" and the "type of publication" strings are in fact translated on the biblio nodes, but are the only ones.

I had to work to convince Drupal to use them as well. Basically you need to keep it in the translations/ directory in the biblo/ directory then disable biblo and reenable it on the modules page this should cause the language system to rescan the translations directory for .po files. You could also try going to the admin/build/translate/refresh page and refresh and update the strings.
