will this part be ported to d6?

if not is it worth to port it?, perhaps the new version 2.x is able to handle this.

Because the D5 versions adds the menu links using hook_menu and the D6 uses menu_link_save, it's not possible. But the functionality IS going to be included in new versions.

Of course, you are welcome to add patches for any functionality you would like to see in the D6 version. :) There is a lot of good discussion here: http://drupal.org/node/432048

I think these features have been discussed in #432048: Functions and User Interface for Version 3.0 , so I would consider this a duplicate of that...

This issue could change projects and go under http://drupal.org/project/adv_taxonomy_menu instead,
