Merging module user_autorole

Hi usonian, we are trying to do a merge of several duplicated modules with the same feature set. For this effort we have first contacted mantainers of modules:

http://drupal.org/project/rolekey
http://drupal.org/project/regcode

Rolekey (http://drupal.org/project/rolekey) is currently being used to do some cleanups and serve as final module for module promotion on registration optionally using a keyword, it's not a must, other options can be considered. It would be great if you join us to define and settle the development of a module for this purpose. Having you close into this development would help us a lot, for sure.

Also I did a call for serveral modules (including this) regarding role promotion in g.d.o.:

Currently, we have confirmation of other mantainers and are going to merge "rolekey", "regcode" and "role keyword registration", providing support for drupal 5, 6 and 7.

Just let me know if you are interested in this merge operation. In the end we will provide an upgrade path for current users of this module to migrate silently to the final implementation.
