A way to make the heading image work on wide screens

Description
I notice the heading image, http://d-theme.com/cdmug, runs out on 1920 wide screens. If you copy the right hand pixels of the header image as a one pixel wide image and make it the x-repeat background of a parent element and switch off the repeat of the main image, you will have a nice lake view going off into the distance.
