This is minor but the page where the update.php process is run after installing or upgrading a module reverts to the core Drupal theme and does not follow the Zen theme. If possible, it would be good to have the site theme stay consistent so people who use Zen as a starting place for a theme would give their clients a fully themed site. Nonetheless, this is admittedly minor.

I believe this is finally being addressed in #705264: Allow Zen (and subthemes) to be used without a database.
