I too have been badgered in certain places with an error by Simplenews Terms:

Invalid argument supplied for foreach() in /.../sites/all/modules/simplenews_terms/simplenews_terms.module on line 504.

Anyone know anything about this or how to get rid of the issue that is causing the error report?

My error may have been because the checkboxes for my newsletter were not checked on the Simplenews Terms admin page:
/admin/settings/simplenews/terms

Not sure how those became unchecked or maybe it was my oversight. I'll report back if I continue having the error.
