I would like to request for an additional feature (module?) for Drupal. This relates to community building, and incentivising members to bring in more members.

This feature request aims to achieve the following:

  • build strong community bond by identifying a any member to their introducer / referals and vice versa - any user can view their "user trees"
  • encourage quality community building by awarding user points for inviting new members, and more points if they register and a collection of further points if the new member participates strongly in the community building and site content
  • promote community commerce & activities by allowing the user points to be used for various purposes, eg discounts for purchasing club / community merchandise
  • track effective network marketing by linking new members to website advertised links (if not through existing member referal)
