If I have both modules enabled, I cannot not hove more than one vocab be super select. The second vocab won't even show up if undo the super select. I need to disable Taxonomy Role.

Taxonomy Role feature is a subset of Vocabperms (#203701: Is this different from Taxorole & vocabperms module ?). Vocabperms is compatibile with TSS.

Of course I'm open to any patch submit. I just don't use TR and don't have time to work on this.
