I don't user Trackback, and I'm sure many users of Drigg don't use trackbacks. Perhaps it would be best to use the Trackback module to provide this functionality and remove trackback from drigg.

It will make maintaining this beast of a module that much easier!

Also found Pingback module.

Similar to Trackback, but uses the drupal comment system to manage everything.
