Apart from creating new content and then copying the content of an article into a blog or a (static) page, is there a quicker way to convert an article to blog or to a (static) page?

I have same issue - recycling
I have same issue - recycling a couple of older but still relevant "pages" as blog posts. They are promoted to front page, etc., but not showing up in blog listing.
