I installed password policy in just one website. But pp module is working on both installation.

I got two different websites in the same hosting account. But with different databases and dns.

There's not much detail here to work with. Are you using Drupal's multisite feature where you can share modules between two different websites from a single Drupal installation? That and symlinking seems like the only ways I can think where a single module installation would work (as it should) on more than one website.

If you're not familiar with what I'm referring to by multisite, there are a lot of details about it here on drupal.org.

There is no way that this is only installed on one site, but running on both. Closing without more details.
