Signup or Ubercart Module for my event
I am looking for a module that will allow people to register for a paid event and also purchase t-shirts, dinner and a few other items via Paypal.
I've downloaded the Signup Module but I'm having trouble figuring out how to configure it.
For instance, I would like the page to show up like this:
First Name Last Name
Address
City State Zip
Phone
Email
Registration Qty
T-shirts drop down for size and quantity
Dinner drop down for adult and child and then quantity
and then have then directed to a check out page to see the total amount. A choice to pay via check or Paypal. I know I would need to download the Signup Pay module for this.
I will also need to run reports that will give me the registrants, sizes and quantities.
Is Signup the best module for this or would I be better off with Ubercart?
Thanks
Dorys

bump
bump. please.
I too am looking for similar functionality.
I'm guessing Ubercart
I don't have any experience with Drupal 5.x/Ubercart 1.x, but I'm guessing that Ubercart is what you want (and I haven't yet looked at Signup). My experience is with Drupal 6.x / Ubercart 2.x. You may get away with using the Product kits that include an event, t-shirt, and dinner (with the appropriate attribute settings), or, creating an event with the appropriate attribute settings. I believe that the Payment Method Pack module that comes with Ubercart will give you the Paypal and check functionality for checkout. If you take a look at the user guide on www.ubercart.org, it might be able to give you some idea of what is possible.
As for reports, I only know of ways with 6.x, but you might look into Views and related modules (I know there is an Ubercart Views module for 6.x), there is a Who Bought What|Ubercart (again 6.x). Not that it helps for 5.x, but there is a Signup Integration for Ubercart (again 6.x). If you search the Ubercart forums, I'm sure someone could point you to how to do this in 5.x or maybe you can beg a port. I think that Ubercart 1.x integrates with Workflow-ng, so you might find something there that helps with reports.
