Hallo,
I can't get to work the taxonomy image module, in particular the taxonomy link alter sub-module.
This sub module optionally replaces the textual taxonomy tags with images in node display.
While it works at least with garland, analytic and simply modern, I cannot get it to work with acquia slate.
The term tags are displayed as textual links regardless if I set the module to replace the links with images or not.

I guess it's just a matter of customizing either template.php or node.tpl.php, but, as a non-coder, I am having a hard time finding what to change.

I would be very grateful to anyone willing to have a look at taxonomy_image_link_alter.module and give me a clue on where to start.

Is this still an issue with the theme and module combination? Have you upgraded both to see if the problem is still there?

HI!
unfortunately the client dropped the project halfway and at the moment I cannot retrieve the local copy of the website we were working on (probably I deleted it with anger ;P).
So I am unable to test if the problem is still there. Sorry.
If I'll ever find out, I'll post here more info.
