FYI, when MyAccount_alter module is enabled, it prevents Friendlist module from showing the Connections section on user account pages. There is no checkbox or option in the MyAccount_Alter UI for this. It effectively blocks people from creating relationships with other users using friendlist.

Actually i had spent 2 days to find out the same issue in my case, any one please help with this. Disabling my acccount alter module shows the connections section.
