Hi,
I think I found a bug with the hide display options for a custom node. (gmap module 5 1.1 rc1 + location module 5 3.1 rc1 versions)
I created a new cck nodetype for which I set min location to 0 and max and default location to 1. At first when creating a new node and setting a marker on the map, the node is displayed with the lat/long information visible, but the "Show Map" link is not visible although I left all hide display options at the node type settings for the location unchecked.
After I edited the settings of the node type, opened the collapsible fieldset where the hide display options can be set, changed nothing and saved the node type it became worse: now also the lat/long fields aren't displayed anymore, and this can't be solved until you delete the node type and create it again.
I investigated a little bit and looked into the variables table using phpMyAdmin. There is one row associated with the node type in this table which had a slightly different content after my editing and saving the node type unchanged.
I assume there is a problem with the editing of the node type with location display hiding and one with showing the Map link.
Do you think you could find the faulty code and correct it or provide a patch?
Thanks a lot,
Chris.

ankur commentedI don't think this is an issue anymore with the currently supported versions of location (6.x-3.x, 7.x-3.x)
