Restrict "access user profiles" permission only to certain roles

Hello, I would like to create site where with couple administration levels. Such as Main-admin, Admin, Sub-admin for example and regular users. Now I would like to give each admin group access to edit accounts (i.e. "access user profiles" permission) of all users and all admins bellow him.
Main-admin would have controll over Admins, Sub-admins and users.
Admin would have controll over Sub-admins, and users.
Sub-admin would have controll only over users.
Is there any module that would do this? I have tried many different access modules over last year or so (such as Role Control, RoleAssign, Role Delegation and similar), and non of them really suited my needs.
Please feel free to give me any suggestion!

The http://drupal.org/project/accounttypes module does something similar but doesn't have a d6 version yet.

Ok, so I've been searching
Ok, so I've been searching drupal site for couple of hours today after starting this topic and I found out module Administer Users by Role which pretty much do what I originally wanted.
