Issue Summary

Hi,
I know that in requirements was clearly written "php5 needed" but it just so happened that my hosting suppler have servers with PHP4 and he doesn`t react to requests to update it... so just ma be there is some way to use this module with PHP4?

You can try removing the PHP requirement from the filefield.info file, but I don't think it will work quite properly (not 100% sure what won't work though). I'd suggest ditching your host if they won't upgrade PHP or don't offer a plan with it. Hosting is dirt cheap. Considering the value of software (despite being free, FileField alone contains thousands of development hours), switching your host to PHP 5 is an easy economical decision. Just $100/yr when the cost of a developer can easily run $100/hr, it's cheaper to upgrade your site to PHP 5 than try to support PHP 4.

If you decide to try and run FileField on PHP 4, please do not submit bug reports caused by incompatibility, as my local testing sites no longer even run under PHP 4 and I'm no longer testing for it.
