How can I get Menu Block to show a link from primary menu that has no children?

I am using menu block to make a quick menu link section at the footer of my site and it's working fine. But some of my menu items don't have children and I can't get them to show up in the menu block. Do you know what I might be doing wrong? I've been playing around with it and I can't get it to work. Attached is a screenshot of a mock up. The links I am talking about are ones with no children like "Members" and "G4 Developers"
