I would like to use google maps on my website and show the users location of the shop
and as well as trips

Are there any ready modules for Google maps and drupal 6

I have worked on this for a few days and finaly got it right. Here is the module for Google maps and Location. I can not realy tell you how I did it, because I don't know. I am trying to find out the exact steps needed to complete this. I do know that Google has a team that works on this and has alot of information on their site as well.
