Thanks for this contribution, I was wondering already why something similar wasn't available before.
Would you mind making it available for Drupal 6.x too? It only need a minor change in your .info file and I would love to make my uc_pangora module depending on yours.

In effect, there are some small changes necessary in the .moudle file too. THe syntax of the URL function has changed and I have attached the module ready for Drupal 6.x if you wanted to us that as your basis.
