Description
Hi,
When trying to create a new profile, or editing a profile, I get the following message after I press Create profile or Edit Profile. Any ideas how I can get round it?
Thanks in advance
R
Error 400: Bad Request
Your browser sent a request that this server could not understand.
Probable reasons are:
You sent a plain HTTP request to an SSL-enabled server port. Instead please use the HTTPS protocol to access this URL, like this: https://example.com:8443/
You made a typo in the request, e.g., typed a comma instead of a colon. Please re-check the URL.

I get this error too. It's not an https error as our website isn't configured for SSL. I can't retype the URL because I'm pressing the save button after having made the change to the default profile, or having created a new profile when I get this error. Any other ideas? Does FCKeditor only work with certain themes?
Thanks

1) Do you have this problem with the default theme?
2) Could you try analyzing the traffic using a tool such as Wireshark?

Hi Jorrit,
1) I tried fckeditor on the default theme and got exactly the same error.
2) I've scanned my PC using wireshark but having trouble figuring out what the problem is. I can see the flow of traffic from my PC to the Drupal server and back again via port 4199 on my PC to port 80 on the server. It then picks up checksum errors in three instances prior to the bad request error being issued. I can post the TCP stream if that's any use?
Thanks,
Snudge

You could save the flow to a .pcap file and attach it (if you want) or email it to jorrit _@_ ncode.nl.
