Using Drupal 6.12.
Installed FCKeditor 6.x-1.3 (03/19/2009) (as well as "WYSIWYG").
I get installation errors, and can't get the rich editing box to show up.
Had to revert to FCKeditor 6.x-1.3 -rc1 (01/16/2009).
Any thoughts?

vacilando commentedSame problem, subscribing.

cristhian commentedIt seems like this version works a little bit different, you must have a role assigned in Administer > Site Configuration > edit the Advanced profile, in Basic Setup just check 'authenticated user' and Update the profile.

csitter commentedSame Issue.. I looked at the profile for user 1 and user1 and 'authenticated user' is checked and grayed out.

cristhian commentedWhat do you mean with "user 1 and user1"?
Are u sure your version is the same as posted?
Because I can't see a profile for a specific user, by default there are two profiles: Default and Advanced, in the Advanced profile is where I checked 'autenticated user' and it worked.

vince@lacknergroup.com commentedI eventually got this to work. The issue might have been the need to install the current version of FCKeditor itself (in addition to the Drupal FCKeditor module that I had already installed).

Ryan Palmer commentedSeems I had a similar issue. Upgrading to fckeditor-2.0-beta1 release solved it for me, though.
