Assigning H1 tags

Hi there,

I'm pretty sure that my theme isn't assigning anything to h1 tags. I'm using the Amity Island theme for my site: www.ishigaki-japan.com

I was thinking about assigning the node titles to h1. Currently the menu name is h2.

How would I go about this - I'm guessing that I modify the page.tpl.php file. To be honest though I've no idea what to do as I've only made relatively minor css changes to the theme so far, hence, any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
