Hi All

Just a quick post to let you know that I will be sending you over a Welsh (cy) translation in the coming weeks.

I am not too sure about the process of putting the files on the CVS so will load them through the issues section.

I have some questions though...

Do you have to load the modules onto issues all at once?
Can I get the main parts translated and then add other parts later in order that I can get the site live with the main translations as soon as possible?

If I need to do all of the translating first in one go to make things easier later on then I will.

They're...preogressing. I think we've managed to translate the bulk of the text that's visible to users. It will take a little more time to do the rest. I'm just getting somebody to proofread them this week then I can send you the .po files if you want [I have no idea how to load the mup to the Drupal website I'm afraid...].

I run the Photographic Society at Cardiff University. I'm setting up a new site for us in Drupal. It'd be *amazing* if you could mail me your Welsh .po file. Even if it's only a work in progress I'd love it how it is right now!

Any progress with this? There is a large Welsh community which could benefit from this.

Also, the code for Welsh is "cym". "cy" is for Cyprus.

I too am very interested in the outcome of the Welsh translation, I am currently working on a Welsh language website, would be great if we there was something already in development.

im studing Welsh, but the translation site gives me north walian and im studing south walian! can anybody give me an accurate website?

Just a quick update, we have all but finished a complete translation of Drupal 6 and all the Acquia modules, and will be releasing it on drupal.org for the community at DrupalCon Paris next week.

Will post a news article on http://www.website-express.co.uk/ when it's live.
