No - I haven't, but I've been considering it recently.

As part of developing a module, I want to migrate some javascript to work off the AJAX implentation in Drupal, but I don't have enough knowledge on the Drupal side.

It would be great to collaborate with someone, but I get the feeling that experts in this area are thin on the ground. They're probably all off trying to code the next Flickr. :-)
