any ideas why the theme shows up as not supported? I used CVS to check out the theme and I use CVS Deploy module..

drew reece commentedNot sure, but a quick look at the drupal-6--1-2 branch showed a number of different files. One on them being the blueprint.info file that Drupal uses to pick up module dependancy & version info.

designerbrent commentedHave you tried downloading the tar package and installing it that way?

dakku commentedhi,
yes I beleive the TAR method had worked for me in the past, I have started using 960 grid system, therefore (sadly) I cannot supply more information until I use it again..

jsibley commentedI am having a similar problem with the Newsflash theme from Roopletheme. I downloaded version 6.1.6 using CVS and get a "not supported" message in the update report.
Is this anything to worry about? Also, could someone please clarify what needs to be in place that might be missing in the CVS installation for Drupal to recognize the theme as valid?
Thanks.

drew reece commentedMy understanding is that the .info file tells Drupal if a module or theme is compatible. Do you have a newsflash.info file in the theme? Compare what you have to the newsflash.info in the 6.x-1.6 branch. Post to the newsflash issue queue if you can't figure it out.
