The "Beyond the Basics" section on the /handbook page contains a link to "more detailed installation and configuration help." The link goes to a page that is actually part of the "Getting Started" section.

jhodgdonHmmm.
This refers to the Handbooks page http://drupal.org/handbooks
The Beyond the Basics link itself goes to http://drupal.org/handbook/customization -- that is probably fine, as that is the Beyond the Basics page.
However, inside the text of the Beyond the Basics section on Handbooks, there is a link to "more detailed installation and configuration help": http://drupal.org/handbook/customization/tutorials/beginners-cookbook
Which is a link to the Beginner's Cookbook. This is probably not the best place to take someone for "beyond the basics" help, so I agree with this issue reporter. Probably that sentence should just be removed from the Handbooks page.
I'm changing the component, on this issue, as it has to do with navigation on the Handbooks page. Also, you need to be some kind of a super-admin to edit that page, hence the tag.

MGParisi commentedI agree, the title of the link on the main page should be "Beginners Cookbook" or the link should be changed to http://drupal.org/handbook/customization
If the title was changed to "Beginners Cookbook" then I believe a "cookbook" would need to be defined on the page. Also the cookbook is not "Beyond the Basics". The "Beginners Cookbook" is the basics.
